About TurboFragger

We're a team of passionate Australian gamers dedicated to delivering honest reviews and celebrating competitive gaming.

TurboFragger team working in a gaming office

Our Story

TurboFragger was founded in 2019 by a group of Sydney-based gamers who were frustrated by the lack of locally relevant, unbiased game coverage for Australian audiences. We set out to build a platform that speaks directly to the Australian gaming community — covering local tournaments, reviewing games with Aussie server performance in mind, and building a genuine community of like-minded players.

Today, TurboFragger is one of Australia's most-read independent gaming publications, with contributors in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. We cover everything from AAA blockbusters to indie gems, and from grassroots LAN events to national esports championships.

  • 100% independent — no publisher funding influences our scores
  • Australian-first perspective on server performance and pricing
  • Live coverage at major Australian esports events
  • Community-driven tournament listings and registration
  • Transparent review methodology published on our site
